As a comedy agent, I have a lot of young comedians that come to me looking for corporate comedy jobs. I have a few tips when they ask me how to become a corporate comedy success story. They need to be able to put on a clean act. Many times corporations do not want an X-rated comedian at one of their events. They also must be able to do a lot of traveling. There are conventions held all over the country, and a comedian only willing to perform in a certain area will not be very marketable. By keep points like this in mind, it helps them realize if corporate comedy is right for them.
