The recent recession has forced companies to leave the London Metro area and move north. Lower real estate prices and cost of living indexes have helped create a renaissance for Northern England. The North West, especially, with the Urban centres of Liverpool and Manchester, has been a rising star in the job market. As a cure for the economic slowdown, the government is also providing incentives for spending.
