Catching Up
When my husband retired, we decided to buy a truck, and do team driving. We love being able to earn money, and travel all over the country. Mostly, my husband does the driving, and I operate the trucking software, keeping track of trip reporting and settlement reconciliation. We do switch off for a few hours every day, but mostly, I do the paperwork and keep him entertained, and he drives. It’s a great way to spend out retirement, catching up and getting to know each other again. We even get to see our kids and their families fairly often, as they live in towns we regularly deliver to.
