Necessary Insurance To Carry Between Jobs

It is necessary to carry short term health insurance while you are between jobs. My family & I found out just how important that was when our son Tim ended up with several surgeries on his leg. Thank goodness we were covered, as his broken leg turned out to be quite complicated, much more so than just setting it.

So far, the intermittent insurance has been able to cover several hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of doctor bills, plus the hospital bills have been through the roof. We would not have made it financially if it were not for the temporary insurance covering the bills.
