Should I buy a red wine or should I buy resveratrol?

This may sound like a stupid question but I really don’t understand why more people aren’t asking it. If resveratrol is just basically the isolated and active component that you find in red wine and in red grape skins, then why can’t you just go out and buy a bunch of bottles of wine, or a kind of grapes and eat and drink those instead of having to buy Resveratrol? Maybe I’m missing the point, and the stuff that you find in resveratrol supplements is a lot more powerful or concentrated than what you’d get if you try and consume mass quantities of the original product.
