The Lasik Surgery Cost Outweighed My Need for Contacts

When I opted to have the surgical procedure done to correct my vision, I looked at how it would weigh against wearing contacts before I did it.  I noticed that my contacts were costing me over $1000 a year, so when I compared the lasik eye surgery cost against my contacts, the surgery was the better option.  Now I no longer require any kind of corrective lenses, and I can see better than I have ever been able to see.  The surgery cost varies from doctor to doctor and state to state, but mine cost me about $270 per eye.  I paid under $1000 for the surgery and follow-up appointments with my insurance,
