Maintaining wood Patio furniture
Wood has the classic charm which no other type of patio furniture has. While maintenance is a tad tough, adequate care is necessary if you want your patio furniture to withstand the effects of the elements.For cleaning wood furniture • Use a brush or a clean dry cloth to remove dirt and debris. If you find scratches you can lightly sand the surface too.• Now scrub the wooden furniture with a solution of soapy warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry.• Once dry apply teak oil to retain its original color. To prevent decay apply wood protective finish or polyurethane to prevent decay of the wooden furniture.• Also it is a good idea to store wooden furniture in the bad weather.
