Reconnecting With an Old Friend

I have been really busy these last couple years, and I have lost contact with some friends that I would really like to reconnect with. However, it looks like they have moved since I got a message that the number I had wasn’t active any more. Can anyone tell me the phone book resource that works the best for finding people when you are not sure where they live anymore? I am hoping they are still in the same city, but I am not sure if that is the case. I suppose I might really have to do some searching somewhere else besides the phone book.
